CUTICURA SOAP
CUTICURA SOAP is similar to most other anti-bacterial soaps except
with one twist. CUTICURA SOAP bills itself as a "Medicated" antibacterial soap.
99% of all antibacterial (or anitmicrobial) soaps use "Triclosan". When added
to soap "Triclosan" is not an effective antibacterial agent. (See our "Truth
about Soap" article to find out more about how ineffective generic anti-bacterial
soap is).
CUTICURA soap is different. CUTICURA SOAP uses "Trilocarban". Information about
Trilocarban is rather limited but testimonials have said the following.
CUTICURA SOAP has effectively erased acne where such products such
as Oxy have done nothing. Also there are cases where recent amputees have
not been able to prevent reinfection until they started using CUTICURA SOAP.
Is Trilocarban a new discovery that we can use to better manage the worlds rate
of infections? No. CUTICURA SOAP has been around since 1865. It
is not sure why there are so many testimonials to CUTICURA SOAP, but some people
swear by it. You can even find advertisings from the mid 1800's that rave about
how it prevents disease infection and pimples.
